Why Standard Adhesive Labels Fail in Outdoor and Industrial Environments
Durable labels have asset identification, safety warning, regulatory and brand information on equipment exposed to the outdoors, to extreme temperatures, to chemicals and to repeated abraision for years at a time. Field failure modes of these labels occur at the material layer long before any printer initially chooses a ribbon. Sample policy and qualification turnaround
For a new application or if a new facestock/adhesive combination requires approval, Guanma provides one free 100m trial roll in the required slit width and core size. Standard samples-to-decision timing is designed to be brief such that the qualification is not on the project’s criticalpath schedule. One CoC per lot of each sample roll is supplied along with a current TDS and SDS and any necessary regulatory declarations (RoHS, REACH SVHC) for the requested material.
MOQ and lead time factors
Minimum order quantity and lead time are driven by 3: standard SKU stock vs. build to spec custom specs, slit width & core configuration, destination region. Standard SKUs available in stock in Thailand or Vietnam ship quicker than custom spec material, which will have to go through a coating run.
